Central African States In late 2002, a completely new design change was made in the banknotes of the Central African States as well as the dating system and country codes. Dates starting with 2002 are now printed on the back of this new issue instead of incorporating them in the serial number. New country codes are: A = Gabon, C = Chad, F = Equatorial Guinea, M = Central African Republic, T = Congo Republic and U = Cameroon
